Celebrity Readers at the Ashford Manor Picnic

As a special treat for children and adults alike, the following special guests will read selected poems from Tim and Sally’s Year in Poems (in alphabetical order):

Margo Candelario Artist and author of the acclaimed children’s book Looking to the Clouds for Daddy.
William Eiland Director of the Georgia Museum of Art and author of Truth in Things, the Life and Career of Lamar Dodd.
Kemp Jones Musician, lyricist and author of the children’s book, F.O.L.L.O.W. (the Cat).  Kemp is also a member of our special musical feature, "The Sunnyside Up Band".
Terry Kay Georgia Writer’s Hall of Fame member whose writing career spans four decades and ten novels including the international bestseller, To Dance with the White Dog.
Sandra Loose-Schrantz Author of Bongo is a Happy Dog and Bongo Has Many Friends, the captivating children’s book series illustrated by her husband Peter Loose.
Grace Polaneczky Eleven year-old Grace is a literary critic, active blog writer and regular columnist for the Athens Banner-Herald.
Aralee Strange Poet and playwright whose body of work includes Etta Stone: A Film for Radio and a feature film, This Train. She recently launched Word of Mouth a monthly open poetry reading in Athens.
Jason Thrasher Athens artist and photographer whose works have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the US and the UK and published widely.
